Bioterme
Biotherms represent healthy living, healthy and organic nutrition and retreating into nature. It is the only thermal, medical and health resort in Slovenia that is part of the “green”, eco-tourism. The resort is located in the hilly landscape of northeastern Slovenia, about 2 km south of the village Mala Nedelja in the municipality of Ljutomer. The water sources here are hyperthermal, with a high content of sodium, potassium and bicarbonate. The composition of the spa water is recommended for people with diseases of the musculoskeletal system and spine, chronic degenerative changes in the spine and limb joints, chronic rheumatism, osteoporosis, dystrophy and muscle weakness.

What to see in/near Bioterme & Mala Nedelja

Take the wine route and marvel at the vineyards, green hills and windmills in the area. You can check out the Puch Museum in Sakušak and its exhibition "Johann Puch, son of the Slovenske Gorice, a man for all times", as well an ethnological display. You can see the Gomila viewing tower and Lake Blaguš surrounded by forest.

What to do in/near Bioterme & Mala Nedelja

You can visit the tourist farms such as Vrbnjak organic tourist farm or Pivičan Kosi and Frank - Ozmec farms, where they can learn about the processes of producing home-grown organic food; and the cheerful and friendly Prleks will be happy to offer you an authentic Prlesko kapljica, accompanied by the traditional Prlesko tünka, which enjoys a world-wide reputation.

Where to go in/near Bioterme & Mala Nedelja

You can explore the area of Pomurje and its sunny landscape marked by the Mura River by going on a bike tour. You can go to the town of Ljutomer and its adventure park, or Ptuj with its castle and prominent old city center. In the immediate vicinity of Ljutomer, you can go to the protected forest reserve Babji ložič lying between the Mura and the Drava.
