The thalassotherapy center Talaso Strunjan is located on the territory of a protected landscape park, in the greenest corner of the Slovenian coast. What to see in Strunjan
At the edge of the old salt making landscape, half way between Izola and Piran, you can find a nature park that was named the Strunjan Nature Park in 1990. Its typical flora and fauna give the park its authentic inspiration, which can be felt in every corner of the two nature reserves. Not far away from Strunjan, you can enjoy the view from Piran's city wall which is especially wonderful during sunset.

Where to go in Strunjan
Go to the romantic Moon Bay - by boat, paddling a SUP or crossing from the Strunjan Cape which is so narrow it can only be crossed during low tide. You can experience a trip on Parenzana, a 130 km long bike trail that was once a narrow gauge railway connecting Trieste to Poreč - now offering numerous hidden places along the Slovenian coast, including salt-pans and the famous Valeta tunnel.
